Before they find us
The serums. The vitamins. The topper she touched all night.
Most women who sit in Mot's chair have spent years on the everyday fixes. Supplements. Minoxidil. Root sprays and fibers. A part moved a little further over every year. A topper ordered online in a shade that was nearly right.
None of that is wasted. It's how she learned what doesn't work for her.
What she usually hasn't been shown is the full picture: hair that's attached to her own, made for her head, colored and cut to look like it grew there. That's what we do.
We always suggest seeing a dermatologist first, to understand what's behind any hair loss. Then come and see us.

What we make
Five ways to full, beautiful hair
Every woman's hair and every woman's life is different, so there isn't one answer. At your consultation, Mot shows you the options that suit your hair, side by side.
How it works
From first message to finished hair
- 1
Tell us about your hair. A short, private form. Two minutes. Photos are optional.
- 2
Your private consultation. About an hour with Mot, in the studio or by video. Every option explained, an honest price range, and what care costs each month.
- 3
Design appointment. Measurements or a scan, your color and texture matched, and a 50% deposit to order your hair.
- 4
Your hair is made. Mesh can be ready within days. A CNC takes about four months, and we can fit something beautiful for you to wear while you wait.
- 5
Install day. Your hair is fitted, colored and cut on you. Bring your lip gloss. We'll take your after photos.
- 6
Two-week check-in, then monthly care. We fine-tune anything that isn't perfect and look after it from there.

Real Garnish guests
The difference, in her own hair

“The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner. After years of struggling with extremely fine hair, my confidence was at an all-time low. A friend (whose extensions I never noticed!) recommended Garnish, and it changed everything. Candice and the team made the experience seamless — professional, welcoming, and so supportive.”
Real Garnish guests, photographed in our salon. Every head of hair is different, and so is every result.

Meet Mot
Taught here. Done here.
Candice Motley, Mot to everyone who knows her, has spent more than twenty years behind the chair. She has her own hair loss story, which is part of why she does this work.
Stylists from across the country come to learn hair replacement from her through Confidence with Crowns, her education company. In Raleigh, she does the work herself, and every new install starts in her chair.
Garnish is a beautiful, private salon built only for women. You'll get a drink, a warm welcome and your hair done by an artist. Not a number. Not a clinic.

Medical hair loss
Alopecia, chemotherapy and hair pulling
Many women come to us living with alopecia, during or after chemotherapy, or after years of trichotillomania. What most of them want is simple: hair that stays on, that they don't have to think about.
A CNC is made for one head only, from a 3D model, and it can be documented as a cranial prosthesis. We'll give you the paperwork to submit to your insurance, HSA or FSA. Coverage depends on your plan, so we never promise what it will pay.
If treatment is starting soon, tell us on the form. We'll find a consultation quickly and talk through what you can wear now and later.
